A Bachelor of Technology degree earned in 1994 led to an outstanding casting award.
In the year 2000, after a university Master of Fine Arts degree was obtained, Hermann then became a full-time professional artist doing freelance and commissioned pieces of sculpture.
Over the past two decades, key works of art were shown in New York, Miami, Bogotá, , Vancouver and now Tornto.
Artworks have included geometric architecturally designed stained glass pieces, murals [ in Toronto year 2011 a mural for a blowfish restaurant on Bay st and Adelaide ] ,paintings in oil Watercolor and Encaustic, installations, custom lighting fixtures, as well as metal terracota and concrete sculptures including a highly acclaimed bronze commissioned piece reaching over 8 feet high and weighing over one ton.
Hermann has a bright future ahead with plans to create important indoor pieces of sculpture on a large scale in addition to outdoor pieces made of wood concrete, resin and metal.
The formal education and hands on training added to a natural talent for sculpture and painting, will allow Hermann to hone his professional skills and tools to one day become a Master sculptor and painter.
